Discipline Policies and Procedures, Positive Discipline, and Importance of Self-Esteem
This four-hour training teaches the participant acceptable forms of discipline and behaviors that may customarily result in discipline. The importance of notes, records, and follow-up to evaluate subsequent therapeutic goals and objectives. A routine which reduces the stress of direct care staff and improves the behavior of the child. This training is a model for direct care staff and administrators of high-risk children with a history of out-of-home placements, school disruptions, and/or having a juvenile justice record. Through the training, the participant will develop competencies to begin utilizing with the children.

Apply the training curriculum to the children served in the home
